In support of The College of New Jersey’s sustainability efforts, the Commencement regalia - named GreenWeaver^® - is made of fabric spun from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. For every TCNJ cap and gown ordered, an average of 25 plastic bottles will have been used to manufacture the cap and gown.

Since 2018, TCNJ has helped to divert OVER 155,900 plastic bottles from landfills!

Important Dates

• March 1, 2024: DEADLINE to order for free Bookstore pick up. 
  • Regalia packages will be distributed at the TCNJ Grad Fair at the TCNJ Bookstore on April 17th & 18th. More details to come. 
• April 19, 2024: Deadline to order for ship-to-home. (S&H fee applies) 
• After April 19, 2024: Students will need to go to the Bookstore to purchase regalia. (additional $25 fee will be charged, so ORDER EARLY!)
• Grad Fair - April 17 & 18, 2024 
• Commencement: May 16 & 17, 2024
